East Tennessee pieced quilt, geometric diamond pattern. Comprised of various printed and solid cotton fabrics with blue cotton star printed binding and back. Overall very good condition with some frayed pattern pieces and stitch loss. Some scattered slight losses to fabric pieces. 83 1/2" H x 76 1/2" W. Provenance: Estate of the late J. N. Lonas, Knoxville, TN. Descended through and made for the family by African American slave descendants. 1st quarter 20th century.
